Description

Even if its official name is Âncora d’Ouro, it is known simply as Piolho, and is one of the best known and frequented cafés in Porto. Open in 1909, it was mostly a gathering point of students and teachers, due to its location right in the middle of many universities. Hanged on Piolho’s walls there are still plaques and messages left by the many students that passed by. You can either have a Francesinha here, or just grab a beer at the beginning of the night.
